A friend of mine has started raving about this guy. He was been in the picture for awhile, but now that she found out his family has money and status, she seems coincidentally (conveniently?) more interested. I point out that it may be just an understandable cash/lifestyle infatuation (she insists it isn't), so just for lulz, I also kick in with this quasi-relevant parable:
Archie Andrews is a pimp with a problem. He is faced with the universal dilemma of choosing either Betty, the cute, nice, safe girl next door, or Veronica, the hot, mean, rich girl who's clearly out of his league. There's a bunch of pros and cons to each, but ultimately, I'd say one of the most important factors that he should take into consideration is WHY they're interested in him.

Of course it's funnier if you already know about this. And even funnier if you know about this.
For some reason, I woke up thinking it was St. Patrick's Day. I wore green and greeted everyone. I got puzzled looks, but that didn't stop me. My parents and I celebrated St. Paddie's day by going to Shangri-la by the sea, a new Indian food place (of course). It wasn't until after dinner that I put two and two together and realized my gaffe.
We all had a laugh and then I took my parents to Oceans for a drink. Some tipsy archaeologist girl struck up a long conversation with my dad, and I kept trying to peer pressure my mom into taking shots. I remember my mom commenting on how many people there were. I looked around and shook my head, nah, by the time midnight rolls around, there would be at least 5x as many people. Sure enough, by the time we left, they were charging cover and had a line of scantily clad people waiting to get in. Drinking with the parents... When did this happen?
By the way, happy White Day (Snob, I owe you a pony), and happy Pi Day!
