Went to a Super Bowl party with Wing and Hanh at her cousin's bf's house. It was incidentally where I had previously displayed my amazing skill at playing Taboo. Sorry, Patriots. No perfect season for you.
My left wrist has been hurting really bad for about a month now. I had been ignoring it, but it has been getting worse, and is now waking me up in the middle of the night. I remember when we made fun of Mario for whining about his chest for weeks. Turns out he had a broken rib. It's most likely an RSI, but because the pain is so sharp, there is a chance that I cracked a bone. Either way, the solution is to keep it immobilized. I start wearing a brace around.
My parents let me know they just got back from a trip to the Philippines. I found out they had gone on a government sponsored, 3 day, 23 town sightseeing tour. They partied with the governor of the province, and were greeted by marching bands, fireworks displays, yacht outings and TV news camera crews. Rockstars, my parents are.
After 4 rounds of interviews, I didn't get the job. Apparently the newly hired boss wasn't sold on the position that I was going for. I fully knew that I should have been applying for other jobs during the process, but I was too "romantic" and could only see myself in that one job. Oh well. Swing and a miss.
I'm proud of NT for doing her part to go vote from all the way in Switzerland. She even got covered by the local paper :) I was all excited to read the article she emailed to me until I realized it was in French. Felt like homework, but I managed to get through it. Democracy in action!
