Luckily I read the fine print on the gift cards I got from the WorldMark time share presentation and found that they were only good till Jan 31st. Cheap sneaky bastards. So I had 2 days to spend $100 bucks. Time to go shopping.
Soaps offers to be my personal shopper and we head to some outlets. I pick out a bunch of fancypants office clothes. I figure I've worn t-shirts and jeans to work for the past 10 years, so perhaps it was time to change it up. That and most of my clothes don't fit anymore since I've lost weight.
I chuckle because she pushes me to get everything in navy blue or black. I know where she's coming from, but it's not me anymore. Everything in my wardrobe used to be blue or black, then something snapped and now I'm more of a red and maroon person. I wore a uniform until high school, so I have a tangible fear of becoming a generic blue shirt and khakis corporate clone. Still, I invited Soaps for her opinion, so I relent and pick up one blue sweater.
