This album is just a collection of pics of my adorable niece and nephews. I had a lot of fun talking to the proud mothers and spent a few hours just talking about their parenting adventures. Cousin Dorene's kids Avery and Kellen are really precocious and already ask a lot of tough questions (eg. Uncle Denny, why aren't you married? Didn't you have a girlfriend last time we saw you?), to which their mom rescues me and replies with a perfectly appropriate answer. I was really happy they remembered me from my sister's wedding 2 yrs ago. They even made their mom promise to get me to peek into their room when I arrived late at night, just in case they woke up... Awww :) I also met cousin Annisa's 1 yr old son Greyson, who was ambling around with his walker. I think he'll be the athlete of his generation :)
While hangin out at their place, I also:
- found out that kids enjoyed trying my toothpaste just as much as playing wii
- discovered that the entire crawlspace under the house was flooded and had rats.
- watched Dr. Phil and learned the difference between legitimate and delusional jealousy (presence and absence of proof)
- played 5 hours of fetch with their dog
- got good and rested up, ready for the trip home.
Plus I had this awesome exchange with Avery and Kellen:
Avery: Hahahahah, Laughing is the best. It's my favorite thing to do.
Kellen: Oh yeah? Well I love laughing. It's my fiancee.
